We are ALWAYS looking for volunteers at Clarion PAWS. Our kitties can never get enough attention and they do like their home to be clean!
We generally ask that volunteers are at the shelter approximately 3 hours per week. If you are able to come on the same day every week, it makes our scheduling so much easier. We try to have a "key person" and 3 cleaners there on every shift … which makes a BIG JOB so much more manageable. Although it's really helpful if we know ahead of time that you are coming to help, we are still thrilled to have you there even if it is last minute!
We love to support groups that have service hours they must complete as well as folks you have community service hours that they are required to complete. We encourage groups such as the boy scouts and girl scouts to volunteer along with their parents or scout leaders. You must be 16 years of age to volunteer by yourself and must be signed in by a parent or guardian.

Cleaning Volunteers are responsible for
cleaning the kitties' rooms, changing their linens, providing clean water and food, laundry, washing dishes,
and most importantly, playing with them and giving them lots of love!
