If our resident capacity does not change soon, we will have to turn kittens away.  The influx of kittens and the thoughts of how many will have to be turned away, makes all Clarion PAWS volunteers sad.

We thank you for rescuing those that cannot help themselves.  We would love to be able to take them all.  But, unfortunately, we are still over capacity and absolutely cannot take anymore cats or kittens in at this time.  There’s just no more room at the new PAWS Adoption Center or in our foster homes.  We need foster homes and we need people to adopt senior, adult and teen age cats.  Take a look at our feline selection on Pet Finder http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelterid=PA653  They are adorable and have such varying personalities, that surely one of them would be a perfect fit for your family.

We will be more than happy to add your felines to our waiting list that is already extensive.  If you wish to add your cats/kittens, please call 814-229-1231 and leave your information.

Please visit our website, www.clarionpaws.org, and read our brochure on placing found cats and kittens. Please do not abandon the animals anywhere.  It is illegal and cruel.  It is not the fault of the animals that they are homeless.

PLEASE, PLEASE download our application for low cost spaying and neutering.  http://www.clarionpaws.org/programs/spay-neuter/ .  Even if the cat/kitten is a stray animal and “not your cat”, the only solution to the overpopulation of homeless animals in Clarion County is to spay and neuter.

Adoption is not the solution to the cat overpopulation.  Spaying or neutering of all cats is the only way to stop the killing.
